WORLDS BEST CINNAMON BUN HOT SAUCE

Since before the day Bandit Bakery sprung into life on the mean streets of Aberdeen, we’ve been big fans. We’ve threatened to make all manner of mischief with them over the years and we’ll probably make a sensible product with them in future. But not today. Let’s embrace the platform Prototype Club gives us for having all the fun. 

Leave your sensible pants at the door, we’ve made a hot sauce based on the world famous Bandit Bakery cinnamon bun. 

And we’re not even sorry.

We’ve gone up front with red jalapeño fire. Not too hot, not too mild. Just the right amount of heat to remind you who made this thing. In the secondary wave, you’ll experience the sweet and cinnamony freak show. Pop it on bread or go full meta, dunk a cinnamon bun in it. Be sure to wash it down with a tidy black coffee and a smile. It’s the Bandit way.

HAIRY SPICE MADE ME DO IT

Some of you may remember our old multi award winning “Reapers & Blackberries” sauce. It was quite popular with those of a less than sensible heat tolerance. But it was also dangerously delicious because it was full of Scottish blackberries. Hairy Spice loved it. So when we came to the point of making a sauce with and for that beardy lunatic, we started with that old sauce and improved every aspect of it. See, we don’t like Carolina reapers. Never liked the taste of them. Sure they’re as hot as you’d ever need, but that flavour was the reason we stopped making that sauce.

Know what tastes better? Yep, Scotch Bonnets. So we threw all of them at this sauce and then took things up to Hairy Spice level with the addition of 7 Pot Primo powder, sourced directly from Troy Primeux himself. 

You can keep your manky reapers. 

The blackberry flavour is achieved using 100% pressed Scottish Blackberries and we also have an utterly magnificent blackberry vinegar in play here too.

You know you’re having it on ice cream. Don’t fight it.

NEW JERSEY CALLED

There are people like us all over the world. Even in New Jersey. That’s where we made friends with the Talking Tacos Podcast. We had a bit of a fuss over Buffalo sauce. That fuss resulted in our Buffal-Oh-No sauce. It was only a matter of time before we did a proper transatlantic collaboration. 

And here it is.

“Let’s make a verdé” and so we did. And now you have it too.

This is made from almost every green item on the planet which can be eaten safely. Firstly we paired serrano chillies with tomatillos and then we took things in expected and unexpected directions until we were happy with it. Let’s hope we didn’t just create an international incident… again!

Get those tacos on.
